DID YOU KNOW...
The Emergency Assistance Program assists low-income individuals and families with food, prescription medications, rent utilities, eye exams, and basic dental care. The EA Program has its own Food and Hygiene Pantry making it more convenient for people to take care of their needs at one destination.
The EA program relies heavily on volunteers to conduct intakes for food, rent, prescription, and clothing assistance. The volunteers also work in the pantry organizing the donations and handing out the food. When you are an EA volunteer, you are part of the Living Social Gospel (as contained in Matthew 25:40) "Whenever you did it for one the least important of these, you did it for me".
"God is always there for us. He always opens a door". Virginia Alamanza - Emergency Assistance Coordinator (for the past 27+ years) NOW THAT YOU KNOW...WHAT IS YOUR HEART CALLING YOU TO DO?
