DONATE ► SHOP ► HELP OTHERS DONATE The Resale Center is able to operate because of the many wonderful individuals that donate items to us. The donated items go towards helping people throughout the South Plains with a variety of services provided by Catholic Family Service. The Resale Center itself provides families in need with clothing, furniture, appliances, household items and linens. The Resale Center is fortunate to have several volunteers that come in regularly to help sort, minimally repair, and clean donated items. Donations are tax deductible and a receipt can be provided whether dropping off or having scheduled a pickup. Guidelines for claiming donations on taxes can be found on the IRS website at www.irs.gov . Establishing a dollar value on donated items is the sole responsibility of the donor. Donations are only accepted at the Resale Center 2218 34th Street, Mon-Fri 9:30AM – 4:45PM, and Sat 9:30AM-3:30PM. Please do not leave or dump donations in our alley, parking lot, or during holidays. Please call in advance for large loads. Large loads consist of any trailers, pickup beds full, or amount of small boxes more than 10 boxes. In the event of extreme amounts of donations at one time or day, the Resale Center may have to stop taking donations for the remainder of that day, or until staff can make enough room within our small facility. The Resale Center provides pickup service for your furniture donations and larger items. Appointments are made by calling the Resale Center at 763-8315. Please call in advance as we tend to schedule several days ahead. All clothes and miscellaneous items picked up must be boxed or bagged.
