HELP OTHERS

On a daily basis the Resale Center provides individuals and families throughout the South Plains area with items such as clothing, furniture, appliances, household items, and linens. The Resale Center also sales some merchandise to customers, which raises money for Catholic Family Service. That money is used so that Catholic Family Service can assist families with rent, utility assistance, food, counseling, etc. So whether you are shopping at the Resale Center or providing donations you are helping others as well.

Clothing gift cards are provided to families needing clothes. These gift cards can then be redeemed at the Resale Center where the family member can pick out their own clothes.

Furniture, appliances, household items, and linens are also provided to families with need. The family is provided with a furniture voucher through Catholic Family Service requesting particular items which is then redeemed at the Resale Center. The Resale Center staff then work diligently to gather the items requested when available. Unfortunately there are items that are more difficult to obtain than others, so there can be a waiting list for some items.

The Resale Center is always in need of donations to better assist families in need. In particular refrigerators, washers, dryers, mattresses and box springs, dressers, chest of drawers, dining tables and chairs, towels, bowls, pots and pans, linens, vacuums, bed frames, sofas, couches, recliners, fans and heaters are always needed.
