DID YOU KNOW...

  • Many rural communities face an epidemic of high teen pregnancies, high drug use, and other alarming social issues.

  • A Community Organizer understands the Iron Rule of all ministries: Never do for others what they can do for themselves.

  • You can make a difference in your community.

The Rural Community Organizing Project Coordinator seeks individuals in the community who are leaders who are passionate about making a positive social change in their community.  This program is utilized in Garza, Hockley, and Crosby counties.  The Rural Community Organizing Project brings community individuals together to address the social issues that plague their community.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have leadership qualities and who are interested in creating a change within their community by addressing and analyzing social issues.  These individuals will work towards this goal by organizing strategies to better their community.
